Michael Farris Smith + Summer Events!
Dear friends,
Michael Farris Smith's newest book is hot off the presses, and he's coming back home to Columbus tomorrow to celebrate. Join us at 7 pm at the Columbus Arts Council for a chance to catch up with our old friend.
We've got a special evening planned with a unique double feature — the launch of Michael's brand new novel Lay Your Armor Down *and* a screening of his directorial debut Chasing Rabbits, a 30-minute short firm that's getting international buzz.
RSVP at friendlycitybooks.com to reserve your spot and get a copy of the book or pick one up at the event.
You'll also want to put the following events on your calendar while you're at it:
Saturday, May 31 at 10 am: Summer Reading Kickoff and Free Book Swap at the Columbus-Lowndes Public Library System
Wednesday, June 4 at 2:30 pm: Children's section ribbon cutting with Pediatric Dentistry of Columbus and the Columbus-Lowndes Chamber of Commerce at Friendly City Books
