Coffin Bell: A Journal of Dark Literature

Proudly distributed by Friendly City Books

Coffin Bell: ONE and Coffin Bell: TWO are Coffin Bell Journal’s first two print anthologies. With flash fiction, short story, poetry, and creative nonfiction from over 60 contributors in each volume, these anthologies are a treasure of stunning dark literature.

Horror stories and art bring me so much joy, and I’m thrilled to help share the beautiful darkness of Coffin Bell with our small Mississippi town. Not only do these collections showcase darker art and fiction, but they also feature writers and artists local to Columbus and Mississippi alongside those from farther afield.

Tamara and her team have worked so hard to make Coffin Bell something truly special, and it shows. The books themselves are gorgeous display pieces.

“Beautiful collection of stories and poetry, from spooky ghost stories to deep and meaningful pieces that tackle the more difficult aspects of life, death, and the scope of human imagination. Excellent, highly recommend.” — Reader Feedback
