MLK and more

Dear friends,

Wherever you are, we hope you will take a moment tomorrow to reflect on Martin Luther King Day – and if you're in Columbus, we hope you'll join us at the city's annual celebration.

This is the third time we're organizing a public reading of Letter from Birmingham Jail, a tradition inspired by Square Books. With 32 participants, this is our biggest one yet.

We'll be giving away copies of the book of Letter from Birmingham Jail while supplies last thanks to Columbus Lowndes Chapter of the NAACP and the Friendly City Books Community Connection, a special project of the CREATE Foundation.

This is the first in our spring event schedule for 2026, so get out your calendars and save the date for Ralph Eubanks on February 12 and Catherine Pierce on April 6. Stay tuned for more details!

Happy reading,

Emily
