Re-re-re-opening

Dear friends,

It's time to get back in action at the bookstore! With your help, we are ready to reopen Friendly City Books tomorrow in our new location at 109 5th Street North.

We can't wait to show y'all the new and improved bookstore next to Coffee House on 5th. Get the first look, explore the new store with our scavenger hunt, and celebrate with us at our reopening extravaganza!

Tomorrow is the day to spend any Friendly City Bucks coupons you've earned this year, and Frequent Flyers will get their 20% off monthly discount plus a free cup of joe from our friends at Coffee House on 5th.

We're also going to do something a little special for our friends in far places. Everyone who made a purchase from us online through Bookshop.org or Libro.fm during the month of February will be entered to win a raffle for a free FCB t-shirt. There's still time today and tomorrow to purchase a new bookebook, or audiobook and get your name in the drawing!

We couldn’t have done it without all of you. Over 40 volunteers turned out to our first moving day, and we got all of the books and all of the furniture moved in just two hours! Our families even pitched in, coming from as far as the Coast.

Our staff has been hard at work transforming the building into a cozy, welcoming space with something for everyone. Emily O. did an amazing job designing the layout, and Rachel even repainted the mural in the kids’ section that Pediatric Dentistry of Columbus sponsored.

We are so grateful for all of your support, and we can't wait to see y'all at the new shop!

Happy reading,

Emily
